Espolòn Reposado Tequila
Description
Espolòn Reposado is a premium tequila that is aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two months, giving it a smooth and complex flavor profile. It is made using 100% blue Weber agave, which is harvested by hand and roasted in clay ovens to bring out its natural sweetness and complexity.
After the agave is roasted, it is crushed to extract the juice, which is then fermented and distilled in copper pot stills. The resulting tequila is then aged in new American oak barrels, which gives it its distinctive golden color and adds depth and complexity to its flavor.
On the nose, Espolòn Reposado has notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak, with a hint of citrus and a touch of spice. On the palate, it is smooth and rich, with flavors of cooked agave, cinnamon, and caramel. The finish is long and warm, with a pleasant hint of sweetness.
Espolòn Reposado is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it also makes a great base for cocktails. Its complex and well-balanced flavor profile makes it a versatile tequila that can be used in a variety of cocktails, from classic margaritas to more complex concoctions.
