Insolito Blanco Tequila
Description
Insolito Blanco Tequila is a type of tequila that has not been aged and is bottled immediately after distillation. It is also known as silver or white tequila, and it is one of the three categories of tequila recognized by the Mexican government, the other two being reposado (aged for a minimum of two months but less than a year) and anejo (aged for at least one year but no more than three years).
Insolito Blanco Tequila is produced in Mexico and made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is grown primarily in the Jalisco region of Mexico. The agave is roasted, crushed, and the juice is fermented before being distilled in copper stills. The resulting tequila is clear and colorless, with a sharp, herbaceous flavor and notes of citrus and pepper.
Insolito Blanco Tequila is often used in cocktails, such as margaritas or palomas, but can also be sipped neat or on the rocks.
