GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese 50% Merlot 50%
YIELD: Grapes yield of 5 tons per hectare
HARVEST: Hand-picking in crates. Grapes Selection on the vine
VINIFICATION: Fermentation in wood tanks at a controlled temperature with selected
yeast. Maceration post-fermentation of10/15 days
AGEING: Inwood and bottle.
ANALYSIS: alcohol 15%, tot. ac. 5 g/l
COLOR: dark ruby red
AROMA: spicy notes with a prevalence of cinnamon and vanilla, evidently connected to the barrel aging. Hints of Morello cherry, plume, and violet
TASTE: full, harmonious and warm. The good structure shows in the mouth the elegant tannins of the barrel aging and the bottle refinement.
MATCHING DISHES: roasted meat
WAY OF SERVING: roast noble meats and aged cheeses can be served during the whole meal. Serve at 16-18°C in crystal balloon-shaped wine goblets
